How to Run Math Circuit Training
Math Circuit Training is a great way for students to practice math fluency, gain confidence with mathematical reasoning, and build math content mastery in a very short period of time. This PD Byte investigates math circuit training, shows how to set up scaffolded stations, and provides a template for building your own math circuit cards. You'll explore math circuit stations—patterned after traditional circuit fitness workouts—that address concepts such as polygons (ES), fractions/decimals/percents (MS), and trigonometric ratios (HS). The key is ensuring that each student is challenged at their own skill level so they move quickly toward mastery of the math content.
