LoTi Observer

Who can take the survey?
All public and private school educators throughout the nation can take the LoTi Digital-Age Survey. At the conclusion of the survey, participants will receive individual results and recommendations based on their grade level and subject area including an individual LoTi Digital-Age Professional Development Profile.

How do I login to take the survey?

Access the LoTi Lounge at: www.lotilounge.com
Click on the link that says 'Sign Me Up!' (in the 'I'm a New User' section of the LoTi Lounge login block) to complete a ONE TIME registration sequence that will both identify you as part of your state/district/school and as an individual user.
Follow the registration instructions on the screen. You will first be prompted to enter your Group ID and Password. Entering this information will ensure that your survey is included with your state's annual data and will bring up options to select your district and school. The Group ID and Password is the name of your state in all lower case letters without any spaces. For example:
- GroupID: newjersey
- Password: newjersey
Next, you will be prompted to enter your User Information including a User ID and Password of your choosing. This User ID and password should be something you will remember as it is what you will use to login to LoTi Lounge in the future. It is strongly recommended that you WRITE DOWN your selected User ID and User Password information as many school districts take the survey more than once and it is necessary to re-access the LoTi Lounge system.
Next, you will be prompted to enter your Email address. Entering a valid email address is necessary to have full access to LoTi Lounge.
Finally, you will be prompted to select your organization from a structural list that has already been entered into the computer based on the Group ID you entered above (e.g., your state name in lower case letters). Choose your school district from the pop-up list. The list will refresh with the names of all schools in the district. Choose your school from the pop-up list and click 'Continue' to complete the registration process.

How many times a year can I take the survey?
The LoTi Digital-Age Survey can be taken once per school year free of charge. LoTi Connection recommends annual evaluation of instructional technology practices, however, additional assessments can be arranged for a fee.

Do I need to create a new account if I’ve taken the survey before?
If you have taken the survey in the past and still have the same email address, you do not need to create a new account. Simply login to the LoTi Lounge with your existing Username and Password. If you can’t remember your Username and Password, you can retrieve it from our automated system. If you don’t have the same email address and can’t retrieve your password, you should create a new account.

Can I take a sample survey so I can tell colleagues what to expect?
You can login to the LoTi Lounge guest account anytime to take the survey or review the tools and resources available in the LoTi Lounge. To login to the LoTi Lounge guest account:

Login using the following username/password:
- Username: lotiguest
- Password: lotiguest

How much does the LoTi Profiler cost?
The LoTi Profiler is an annual subscription service available for $250 per organization (e.g., school, school district) per year.

How long does my subscription last?
LoTi Profiler subscriptions allow access to the LoTi Profiler for a period of one calendar year from the date of activation.

Are individual teacher scores available?
Since the LoTi Digital-Age Survey is taken anonymously, individual scores are not regularly provided in the LoTi Profiler. It is possible to obtain individual scores with a signed letter from the school district superintendent requesting access to individual survey results.

Can I track who has taken the survey?
The LoTi Profiler provides a wealth of tools that allow you to keep track of every aspect of your group’s interaction with the LoTi Digital-Age Survey.

How do I login to the LoTi Profiler?
To login to the LoTi Profiler, you must have the administrative login code. This information will be provided when an annual LoTi Profiler subscription is purchased. Once you have the administrative login code, you can enter the LoTi Profiler from a link on the main page at the LoTi Lounge (www.lotilounge.com).

How much does the LoTi Observer cost?
The LoTi Observer is an annual subscription service available for $250 per organization (e.g., school, school district) per year.

How long does my subscription last?
LoTi Observer subscriptions allow access to the LoTi Observer for a period of one calendar year from the date of activation.

Will the LoTi Observer work on my handheld device?
The LoTi Observer is currently available for the iPod touch PDA only. The iPod touch PDA is currently compatible with both Apple Macintosh and Windows/PC computers.
