School systems nationwide are establishing Moodle open-source course management servers to support their growing online needs for both instrcutor professional development and student learning. LoTi offers support for all content-related services including custom course development or skill-based training for Moodle Administrators, Course Creators, and/or Course Instructors. Consider the systemwide cost savings that can be achieved on staff development through the creation of a customized online time equivalency course!
Interest in the National LoTi Project is at an all-time high, but budget constraints are forcing LoTi advocates to seek new solutions for quality, cost-efficient LoTi staff development. Local Certified National LoTi Trainers are able to facilitate many of the LoTi-related online courses and onsite professional development at reduced rates.
LoTi Content Series courses provide participants with an in-depth exploration of the foundational theories and methodologies surrounding classroom pedagogy and current research followed by practical application into the participant’s work environment (e.g., classroom, school building). LoTi Content Series courses are 45 hours each and qualify for graduate credit through the University of Delaware.
LoTi Single courses serve as a practicum for participants to create a short-term action research investigation customized to an individual’s instructional needs. The emphasis is placed on collaboration and the creation of professional learning communities. The timeline for online courses in the LoTi Classroom can be adjusted to fit your financial or staff availability guidelines.
