LoTi Digital-Age School Overview

Target Goals

  • Data-driven academic targets
  • High expectations for all learners
  • Instructional strategies that promote quality student engagement
  • Technology use that is driven by the curriculum; not vice versa

 

Phase 1: Assess

  • Detailed needs assessment for the entire campus – the LoTi Digital-Age Survey
  • Disaggregation of standardized test score data
  • Analysis of current instructional practices

 

Phase 2: Plan

  • Creation of a comprehensive accountability process for continuous improvement
  • Customized professional development profile for each staff member aligned to the NETS-T and/ or the NETS-A
  • Comprehensive plan of action for school improvement targeting student academic growth called a Next Steps Action Plan

 

Phase 3: Implement

  • H.E.A.T. strategies and Teach 2.0 methodologies that are differentiated, dynamic, and adjusted to the needs of the learner
  • Participation in targeted online and blended (online/ onsite) courses during each year of implementation; each course culminates with a deliverable that integrates research-based best practices in the classroom

 

Phase 4: Sustain

  • Three-year program (over 400 contact hours) with at least two onsite visits per year
  • Unlimited use of the LoTi Profiler and LoTi Observer online applications
  • Dedicated interactive Moodle site supporting the campus Next Steps Action Plan
  • Onsite assistance from a Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer
  • Annual summative report documenting benchmark changes in LoTi, CIP, and student academic growth based on AYP Targets
