Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer

Prior to implementation, a designated campus representative will be mentored by LoTi Connection to steward the LoTi Digital-Age School program on campus. This individual, known as the Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer, is someone who possesses the capacity and ability to deliver high-quality, differentiated professional development to campus staff. Working in cooperation with a liaison from LoTi Connection, the Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer will implement a combination of online, blended, and onsite activities designed for classroom teachers to turn up the H.E.A.T. (i.e., Higher order thinking, Engaged learning, Authentic connections, Technology use) and, in turn, increase student academic progress.

Prior to beginning Year I, the Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer will complete an online or onsite LoTi Mentor Certification Institute. Additionally, the trainer will attend a three-day LoTi Digital-Age Institute along with a campus/district administrator. The trainer will facilitate all online and onsite professional development interventions at the LoTi Digital-Age School as designated in the school’s action plan, as well as support the completion of deliverables and participate in online meetings with a LoTi Support Liaison on a monthly basis.

Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainers will have online access to all materials and activities required within the LoTi Digital-Age School program and will use this online access as the main hub of information and communication throughout the program. Each Campus LoTi Digital-Age Trainer will be a member of a cohort along with their digital-age peers for additional support through online interaction and discussion with LoTi Connection personnel.
