Lesson Planning with H.E.A.T.

Use Digital Age Best Practices to refocus existing classroom lesson plans

How emotionally connected are students to the content in today’s classrooms? Are students totally engaged in the learning or are merely involved? How can classroom teachers use their existing digital tools and resources effectively to promote greater student collaboration, engagement, and achievement levels?

The Lesson Planning with H.E.A.T. workshop emphasizes integrating digital age tools and strategies for improved student H.E.A.T. (Higher order thinking, Engaged learning, Authentic connections, Technology use) with existing lesson plans. Using the research-based Digital Age Best Practices, teachers will conduct lesson plan makeovers that increase the amount of student H.E.A.T. generated from any K-12 learning experience.

The LPH Program is Two Days Onsite or Two Days Online
