Numerous dissertations have been written or are currently in progress using or referencing the LoTi Framework and the online LoTi Questionnaire as the basis for identifying variables associated with instructional technology. You must obtain permission from LoTi to use the LoTi Digital Age Survey as part of your doctoral dissertation or other research project. LoTi encourages the use of the survey for research projects that analyze LoTi data in ways that have not previously been studied.
You must obtain permission to use the LoTi Digital Age Survey as part of your doctoral dissertation study. At LoTi, we offer two different data collection options for your doctoral study: standard dissertations and custom dissertations.

The LoTi assessment has undergone extensive research over the past 20 years and has emerged as a statistically-valid tool achieving (1) content, (2) construct, and (3) criterion validity; therefore proving that the LoTi assessment can be used to accurately diagnose instructional uses of technology and recommend professional development priorities consistent with 21st Century Skills and the NETS-T and NETS-A.
